Baseball Game Preview: Sealy Tigers vs. La Marque Cougars

For the second straight game, Sealy will face off against La Marque. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sealy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last seven games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sealy took on La Marque on Tuesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mason Dziadek looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Parker Vesely was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Weston Cryan was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.

Sealy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

La Marque dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sealy, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
