Barrow is a perfect 10-0 against Nome-Beltz since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Barrow Whalers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nome-Beltz Nanooks. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Barrow against Kotzebue as the team secured an 84-12 victory. The Whalers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Nome-Beltz hadn't done well against Bethel recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Nome-Beltz walked away with a 53-46 win over Bethel.

Barrow better keep an eye on Wookie Nichols. She was instrumental in Nome-Beltz's win, putting up 19 points. KJ West was another key player, scoring eight points.

Barrow pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.6 points. As for Nome-Beltz, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.
