Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Takes a Loss

Shelby County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oldham County Colonels. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Colonels when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shelby County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Oldham County, they pushed their record up to 12-4-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

While Shelby County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
