With a playoff win on the line, Cypress Bay rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Coral Gables Cavaliers 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Lightning, who have now won five contests in a row.

Cypress Bay was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-12.

Cypress Bay pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Coral Gables, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Cypress Bay will head out to face off against Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coral Gables does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
