Butler took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 32-14 victory over the Olympic Trojans. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

DeMaurion Thomas-Wright had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 158 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Donovan Pollard was another key player, rushing for 40 yards and one TD.

Bryce Nixon and Jacoby Harris certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Nixon rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, while Harris picked up 26 receiving yards and one score.

Coming up, Butler will take on Corvian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Olympic, they will face off against Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
