Football Recap: Prairie Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prairie can now relate to. They fell 26-20 to the Valley Tigers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Tigers are ranked fifth).

When it comes to explaining why Prairie lost, don't look at Nasir Braddock. Despite the final result, he rushed for 144 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will take on Johnston on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
