Baseball Game Preview: Pilot Point Bearcats vs. Paradise Panthers

For the second straight game, Pilot Point will face off against Paradise. The Bearcats will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pilot Point has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Paradise will arrive with nine straight wins.

Paradise hit Pilot Point with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bearcats lost 8-1 to the Panthers.

Pilot Point saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre Mitchell (III), who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Paradise's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Pilot Point, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
