Basketball Game Preview: Johnson County Central/Lewiston vs. Mead Raiders

Johnson County Central/Lewiston will be taking part in a tournament against the Mead Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson County Central/Lewiston will be strutting in after a victory while Mead will be coming in after a defeat.

Johnson County Central/Lewiston's tournament run continued when they took on Exeter-Milligan/Friend two weeks ago. Johnson County Central/Lewiston simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Exeter-Milligan/Friend 44-15. The win made it back-to-back victories for Johnson County Central/Lewiston.

Meanwhile, Mead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 42-15 defeat at the hands of Tekamah-Herman.

Mead got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Elizabeth Brennan and Jersey O'Brien, who each put up five points. Addison O'Brien held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Johnson County Central/Lewiston's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mead, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
