If Jordan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lakewood, they should've done a better job of containing Anthony Williams. The Lakewood Lancers came out on top against the Jordan Panthers by a score of 64-51 on Friday thanks in part to Williams, who went 11 of 17 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Raphael Johnson, who posted five points in addition to 17 boards and five assists. Those 17 rebounds gave him a new career-high.
Lakewood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8. As for Jordan, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 12-8.
Lakewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-69 defeat against Woodrow Wilson on the 21st. As for Jordan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-46 loss against Narbonne on the 20th.
