Volleyball Recap: St. Benedict at Auburndale Takes a Loss

St. Benedict at Auburndale suffered their biggest defeat since September 2nd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Harding Academy Lions. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Morgan Miller paced St. Benedict at Auburndale's offense, picking up six kills. Miller got some help from Abby Sones and her eight assists. Ashlyn Underwood controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Benedict at Auburndale's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Harding Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

St. Benedict at Auburndale has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fayette Academy on the 30th. As for Harding Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Trinity Christian Academy on the 29th.
