Volleyball Recap: Boswell Takes a Loss

Boswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vista Ridge Rangers.

Boswell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Avery Cartwright paced Boswell's offense, picking up six kills. Cartwright got some help from Brooklynn Williams and her ten assists. Jillian Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Vista Ridge, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Boswell has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lamar on the 22nd. As for Vista Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Frisco on the 22nd.
