Central Regional's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They put the hurt on the New Egypt Warriors with a sharp 12-2 win. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Central Regional moved to 10-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for New Egypt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Regional will host Southern Regional on Tuesday. As for New Egypt, they will challenge Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Piners have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.18 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
