Soccer Recap: Pender Takes a Loss

The Pender Patriots came up short against the Wilkes Central Eagles on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Pender's goal came courtesy of Andrew Zheng, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pender now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Wilkes Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Pender will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Midway at 6:00 p.m. As for Wilkes Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Foard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
