Liberty won the last time they faced Nimitz and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers blew past the Cougars 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Liberty walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-17.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Nimitz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Liberty will be taking part in a tournament against Tarkington at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nimitz, they will take on Stafford in a tournament on Thursday.
