Baseball Recap: Padua Franciscan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Olmsted Falls last Thursday, Padua Franciscan came back down to earth. The Bruins lost 13-3 to the Brunswick Blue Devils on Saturday.

Padua Franciscan's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10. As for Brunswick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Padua Franciscan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brunswick, they will square off against Findlay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
