Seneca Valley lost against Gaithersburg last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Screamin' Eagles fell 12-9 to the Trojans. Even though they lost, the Screamin' Eagles' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Vyomesh Parasa made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season.

Seneca Valley's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Gaithersburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Seneca Valley will welcome Northwest at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gaithersburg, they will take on Clarksburg on Saturday.
