The Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Bengals at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Nutley 17-6 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield fell victim to Caldwell and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bengals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cedar Grove pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Bloomfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Everything went Cedar Grove's way against Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Cedar Grove made off with an 11-4 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bengals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
