Volleyball Game Preview: Clarkstown South Vikings vs. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans

The Clarkstown South Vikings will head out to square off against the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clarkstown South saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of John Jay by a score of 1-0. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake made easy work of Shaker on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-14.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake's win bumped their record up to 17-4-3. As for Clarkstown South, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Clarkstown South came up short against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in their previous meeting back in September of 2018, falling 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
