It was a good run, but CSTHEA unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Whitwell Tigers. CSTHEA was red-hot at the plate headed into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior) but Whitwell's pitchers proved too tough.
CSTHEA saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Daniell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
CSTHEA's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-1. As for Whitwell, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CSTHEA will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Signal Mountain at 5:30 p.m. As for Whitwell, they will face off against Warren County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
