Soccer Recap: Arleta Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chavez

Arleta had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Chavez Eagles by a score of 3-2. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Arleta couldn't quite close it out.

M. Marvin Cordero and Erick Cabrera scored both of Arleta's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The victory got Chavez back to even at 2-2.

Arleta has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against North Hollywood on the 3rd. As for Chavez, they will host San Fernando at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
