Pearl lost to Oak Grove back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Pirates came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Lilly Byrd made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
