Basketball Game Preview: Dupree Tigers vs. New Underwood Tigers

Dupree hasn't had much luck against New Underwood recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Dupree Tigers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on the New Underwood Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-12, which was the final score in Dupree's tilt against Mobridge-Pollock on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, New Underwood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell to Edgemont 48-44. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Moguls recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Dupree beat New Underwood 40-32 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dupree since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
