Football Recap: Gardena Takes a Loss

Gardena managed to slip by King/Drew the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 30-6 to the Golden Eagles on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Gardena now has a losing record of 1-2. As for King/Drew, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gardena will head out to face off against Dymally at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King/Drew, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westchester at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
