Baseball Recap: Milby Extends Winning Streak to Three

Milby won the last time they faced Austin and things went their way on Tuesday too. Milby blew past Austin 8-2. The win was familiar territory for the Buffs, who have now won three games in a row.

Armando Briagas tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those three hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Morales, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Woodrad-Hicks Dre'Lyn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Milby's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Austin, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.
