Soccer Recap: Waccamaw Takes a Loss

Waccamaw kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Fort Dorchester Patriots by a score of 2-1. Hampton Eirvin was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Looking ahead, Waccamaw will challenge Rock Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Dorchester, they will square off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
