Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mt. Markham walked away with it. They came out on top against the South Lewis Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win was just business as usual for the Mustangs, who after 17 games remain undefeated this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 16-25, 25-12, 25-14.

Mt. Markham got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Teagan Roth out in front who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs gave Roth a new career-high.

Mt. Markham was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 36 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Mt. Markham pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither they nor South Lewis have any future games scheduled.
