Volleyball Recap: Powers Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Powers Catholic was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Carman-Ainsworth last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Davison Cardinals on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-11.

Adelynn Wilcox was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and two aces.

Powers Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Davison, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Powers Catholic will take on rival Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Davison is set to square off against their familiar foe Grand Blanc at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
