Zach Rhoden, Plainfield's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Wednesday. Rhoden turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Plainfield's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 8-9 when he doesn't).

Rhoden's strong effort led Plainfield over Mooresville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Quakers have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
