Softball Recap: Oviedo Lions vs. Wekiva Mustangs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oviedo walked away with it. They blew past the Wekiva Mustangs 17-3 on Tuesday. Considering the Lions' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Maile Dunn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. Dunn was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Avery Madden and Scarlett Griffiths did most of the damage at the plate: Madden went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one double, while Griffiths went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
