For the second straight game, New Buffalo will face off against Brandywine. The Bison will head out on the road to challenge the Bobcats at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. New Buffalo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

New Buffalo is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brandywine. That's two games in a row now that the Bison have lost by exactly five runs.

Vaughn Nikkel was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Bowen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Brandywine is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for New Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
