Recap: Midland Mustangs vs. Harrisburg Hornets
The Midland Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 67-43 loss at the hands of Harrisburg. Midland was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrisburg apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Axel Heeb had a dynamite game for Harrisburg, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Heeb is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Jayvin Thompson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Midland's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Harrisburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-21.
Midland will look to defend their home court on Friday against Concord at 3:00 p.m. Concord will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Midland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harrisburg, they will take on Piggott at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
