Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Wade Hampton Generals
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boiling Springs). They blew past the Wade Hampton Generals 60-30 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Boiling Springs found their leader in sophomore Makenzie Kinard, who went 9 for 17 on her way to 22 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Kinard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Tipton, who posted 11 points.
