Logan Hay posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
