Baseball Recap: Cleburne County Takes a Loss

Cleburne County has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.56 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cherokee County Warriors by a score of 13-12. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Aiden Laminack made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Gore, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Cleburne County's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Cherokee County, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
