Volleyball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Danville Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Scott Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Scott to victory were Ethan Tetzel and Maxwell Egersdorfer. Tetzel had 29 digs and two assists, while Egersdorfer had 11 digs, nine kills, and one block. That's the most assists Tetzel has posted over his last four matches. Jett Hanks was another key player, getting five kills, five digs, and one block.

Danville Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Scott, their win bumped their record up to 2-10-1.

Looking ahead, Danville Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Bryan Station at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Sayre on the 19th.
