Volleyball Recap: Mendez Jaguars vs. Sotomayor Wolves
Mendez was the 3-0 winner over Sotomayor when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Mendez Jaguars fell just short of the Sotomayor Wolves by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mendez sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23.
Mendez's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Sotomayor, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Mendez will host Roybal at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sotomayor, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. Sotomayor is facing Elizabeth at the right time seeing as Elizabeth is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
