Softball Recap: Breckenridge Comes Up Short

Breckenridge managed to slip by Comanche the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Buckaroos lost 24-7 to the Indians on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Buckaroos have suffered since February 25th.

Raegan Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Joni Jackson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Breckenridge has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season. As for Comanche, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Breckenridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Tolar on the 1st. As for Comanche, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-8 victory against Eastland on the 1st.
