Lick-Wilmerding came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the McClymonds Warriors by a score of 54-41. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Warriors are ranked 542nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
