After losing to Plainview the last time they met, Bloomfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bees won by a set and slipped past the Pirates 3-2. The game was the first time the Bees have beaten the Pirates on their court since September 28, 2021.

Madyson Mlady paced Bloomfield's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mlady got some help from Kennedy Mlady and her 41 assists. Aleah James controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Plainview's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Pressley Alexander, who had 13 digs, and Emma Sauser, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Bloomfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Plainview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season.

Bloomfield has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Elgin/Pope John on the 28th. Plainview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
