Baseball Recap: Disney II Find Success

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Disney II brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They came out on top against the Intrinsic Mustangs by a score of 10-5 on Thursday. Considering the Titans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Avery Coughlin, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Grier, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Disney II's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Intrinsic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Disney II will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
