Volleyball Recap: Madison's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Madison waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Christian Academy Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24, 25-17.

Madison's offense was headlined by Maylie Skinner and Brittan Neuman, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Audrey Miller and her 29 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Christian Academy, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Madison has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Southwestern on the 23rd. As for Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lanesville on the 23rd.
