Mary Butcher gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in March of 2024 on Saturday. She was unstoppable, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
