Volleyball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Takes a Loss

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bourne Canalmen, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Canalmen: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Morrill, who had nine digs and seven aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bourne, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coming up, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will challenge Bishop Stang at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bourne, they will square off against Fairhaven at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
