Somerset is  a perfect 3-0 against John F. Kennedy since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to  challenge the Rockets  at 7:00  p.m. Somerset will be strutting in after a  win while John F. Kennedy will be coming in after a  defeat.
Somerset took a loss when they played away from home  last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  56-0 victory over Pleasanton. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups by 21  points or more  so far this season.

  Kaleb Flores continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 345 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punching in one  score on the ground. He has become a key player for Somerset: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  three  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.  Malakai Iverson was another key player, picking up 181 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.
 Meanwhile, John F. Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They had to suffer through  a    62-0 loss at the hands of Fredericksburg.
 Somerset pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for John F. Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Friday's  contest:  Somerset has been on an offensive roll this season,  having  averaged 361.1  total yards per game. It's a different story for John F. Kennedy, though, as  they've been averaging  only 189.4  total yards. Will Somerset be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Rockets flip the script?
 Everything came up roses for Somerset against John F. Kennedy when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  74-7 win. In that  game, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of  56-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
