Baseball Recap: Pipestone Takes a Loss

Pipestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson County Central Huskies. The Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Pipestone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Jackson County Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pipestone beat the Huskies by a score of 12-1 later that day.
