Football Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

ROWVA/Williamsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Farmington Farmers and fell 63-12. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Farmers are ranked 134th).

ROWVA/Williamsfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Farmington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ROWVA/Williamsfield will host Annawan-Wethersfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' defense has only allowed 9.6 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Farmington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Farmers will be up against the Miners' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
