Baseball Recap: Seeger Comes Up Short

Seeger was the 8-7 winner over Armstrong when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Jarrett Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Seeger's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Armstrong, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Seeger wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-3 defeat against North Montgomery on the 11th. As for Armstrong, they have also already played their next match, a 15-1 victory against Schlarman on the 11th.
