            Baseball Recap: Cleveland Blue Raiders vs. Blackman Blaze        
        
		
        
        
            Cleveland has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83  runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Friday. They fell  10-5 to the Blackman Blaze. The Blue Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blaze earlier this season, when they won  2-1.
 Cleveland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Charley Atha, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.  River Briggs was another,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 30-10. As for Blackman, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record  this season.
While Cleveland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
