Volleyball Recap: Jocelyn Rodriguez and Kaylie Thiesen Secure Win for Reedley

Reedley won the last time they faced Woodlake and things went their way on Friday too. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers.

Leading Reedley to victory were Kaylie Thiesen and Jocelyn Rodriguez. Thiesen had 14 assists and five digs, while Rodriguez had five digs and two aces. Thiesen has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

Reedley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Woodlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Reedley and Woodlake will both be playing Cabrillo the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Conquistadores at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
