 If the Red Rock Central Falcons were riding high  off their  68-46 takedown of the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Red Rock Central took a  64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Murray County Central on Friday. Red Rock Central has not had much luck with Murray County Central recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
 When it comes to explaining why Red Rock Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Isaac Simonson. Despite the final result, he  dropped  a double-double on 35 points and 11  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Simonson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashton Holmen, who  scored six points along with eight  assists and five  rebounds.
 Red Rock Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Murray County Central, their victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-12.
 Red Rock Central will head out on the road to  take on  Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Red Rock Central focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Murray County Central, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Southwest Minnesota Christian at 7:30  p.m.
